Chain of Lakes

Chain of Lakes was designed for the 2020 Posters for Parks show, which features limited-edition posters created by local artists who are inspired by Minneapolis parks. 50% of all profits from the show are donated to protect and preserve the award-winning Minneapolis park system, with the other 50% going directly to the artists. Each year, the show raises thousands of dollars to support the community-driven programs of the People for Parks Fund.

My poster, Chain of Lakes, is a five-color screenprint inspired by the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes Regional Park, a popular destination with kayakers due to its uniquely connected canals allowing travel from one body of water to another. This poster design was voted the People’s Choice award.
